Which do I choose...Sunrise or Sunset?
Sunrise shoots are a bit cooler, but for the early risers. Morning light is best between 7-11am. Sunset shoots between 5-7pm. Both sunrise and sunset lighting is amazing, this all depends on you and your families schedule. Please allow 60 minutes for the shoot.
We’re pretty shy in front of the camera…will you pose us?
I love getting to know my clients and like to make the photo shoot fun and comfortable. I will happily walk you and your family through different poses for the best quality family photos.
What rights do I have to the digital prints?
Your photo shoot includes all the finalized, edited digital prints of your chosen session. You will receive a USB stick with the digital photos at the time of viewing. Alternatively I will upload the prints to an online downloadable gallery.
How long do your sessions last?
Sessions last according to the photo package you have chosen. However if we need a bit more time to get the best photos possible I.E. Weather, or other variables the shoot could go longer than expected.
Do you shoot weddings, extended family sessions, family reunions, or private corporate events?
Yes, I shoot them all. Please contact me via email to discuss the photo shoot you are wanting.
Do you travel? What are your travel fees?
Yes, I can travel and will be happy to accommodate in any way I can. This would depend on the location as to the fee. To be discussed before the session.
What should we wear/bring?
Wear something you feel comfortable in. I like all the people I photograph to be comfortable and happy. The goal is light and airy, lighter colors are always beautiful and just a bit softer than extremely dark colors. Be yourself, feel free to have a bit of fun, Props such as Hawaiian leis, flowers and aloha wear. If in doubt bring an outfit for a quick change if necessary. Shoes not necessary!
How do you handle payment?
A 25% deposit will hold your session. This can be done through direct payment, through Square or if ordering photos from Zenfolio, online.
What if we need to reschedule because someone became injured or sick prior to our session?
I will do my best to reschedule you at a time convenient to you and your family.
If we cancel our booking will we receive our retainer back?
Refunds for cancelled photoshoot will only be refunded if you cancel 48 hours in advance of your scheduled photo shoot.
How long does it take before we receive our products and photographs?
Turn around time is usually 24 hours. This can be extended if there is a large amount of editing to do or I have back to back photo shoot.
Do you provide all the images you shoot?
I will provide the edited or lightly edited images of your photo shoot after reviewing what we have captured. The amount of images depends on the photo session you selected. Providing you with the best quality images.
Do you edit all our photographs?
I do not edit all images, I do review the images and if they need to be edited in any way I will do so, giving you the best quality images.
